The art world is experiencing a spiritual revival -
Not as religion
but as perception.

I am seeing it everywhere at the Venice Biennale, In Minor Keys, curated by Koyo Kouoh.

In auxiliary exhibits and gallery’s.

Artists exploring ritual, presence, ecology, embodiment, grief, joy, devotion, light, frequency, and collective experience.

A deeper search for meaning, connection and consciousness through art.

As I visit Black Madonna, I am not ignoring the colonialism of the church, I am tracing a lineage further back in history- in what existed before and beyond institutional control—
That enduring relationship between creativity, symbolism, ritual, embodiment, and the feminine.

The art world doesn’t run on clear rules—it runs on relationships.

And ’tis the season—grant applications, residencies, and art fairs are all happening at once. Which is when I see artists either gain traction—or stall.

If you’ve ever questioned a contract, a gallery, or a deal…this is for you.

I could have easily titled this episode of Female Frequency Podcast with founder Carrie Scott: “Carrie: Unfiltered”—we did a pop quiz on critics and I asked her eight things artists should know to be seen and sold.

SEEN is a membership platform for artists & collectors and inside this episode Carrie shares a new project she’s building to help you navigate the art world! She is currently working with FAMM Museum Mougins ( )and has a mentorship giveaway—so go check her out

As a curator, I’ve spent years placing light ever so perfectly to keep attention on a work of art…

But the real work?
Helping people recognize—They Are the masterpiece.

So why are you living and working in lighting that dims you?

You wouldn’t eat processed food all day—
so why accept processed light?

In a world of fast fashion, fast food, and fast design, we’ve normalized lighting that works against our systems.

In this Earth Day episode of Female Frequency Podcast I am thrilled to welcome award-winning lighting designer & glass artist Julie Conway ( ) who shares with us:
💡why lighting is a wellness tool
💡and how full-spectrum light supports how you live, cook, and create.

To those new here, welcome!
For those wondering what I am upto..this season of Female Frequency on 🔥 with special guests including: .thealien

For over 25 years, I’ve helped people experience art—not simply as something to look at, but as something that transforms us from the inside out.

In this week’s episode of the Female Frequency Podcast, I share how that understanding began, why it matters now more than ever, and how changing the way we relate to art can change the way we relate to ourselves.

Because when we reduce art to a simple object, we miss its real power: art shapes consciousness, challenges perception, and changes the way we live.

It was an honor to be part of the kickoff celebrations of CHIHULY: Venice 2026 with the studio and our arts community this week.

Creativity at this level is a decision—to go big (!), to stay with the vision, and build relationships that hold it.

See you Venice!!

Repost : Last evening we gathered at The Boathouse with our incredible Seattle arts community to celebrate the kick-off of “CHIHULY: Venice 2026.”

It was especially meaningful to have our presenting partners, Pilchuck Glass School and Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, there alongside many of our ambassadors, donors and sponsors, including Delta Air Lines, Solea, and Vignalta.

In The Hotshop, Dale and the team brought a “Venetian” to life. Dale has been working on this series since the late 80’s. Maestro Lino Tagliapietra worked with Dale and the team on these works in the early days.

Dale shared a great story about how, as a young artist in the 1960s, he boarded a ship from New York to Italy. His friend Robert Hendrickson traveling with him offered a piece of advice “When you get to Italy, shave off that beard, buy a new sport coat, get yourself some wraparound shades, and don’t look back.”

That was the beginning of a lifelong connection to Venice — one that continues as we mark the 30th anniversary of “Chihuly Over Venice.”

From April through November, “CHIHULY: Venice 2026” will feature three new monumental works on the Grand Canal, alongside an archival presentation at the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, located in Palazzo Loredan, curated by Suzanne Geiss.

Next stop: Venice!

St. Patrick’s Day—but this isn’t about luck 🍀

In 1988, I hit the growth edges of my intuition.
That moment changed how I listen—
to my body, my work, and my life.
Intuition speaks differently to everyone—
which is why this conversation matters.

I’m excited to share this episode with intuitive coach and host of the You-est You Podcast, Julie Reisler,
who describes her intuition as a wild mustang—
not something you control, but something you learn to ride!

In this episode—it’s not surface talk.
We go straight to the deep water.
• intuitive growth edges—including her experience with a dissolved pregnancy
• how responding to intuition builds confidence
• why messy seasons carry the clearest guidance
• and how her recovery journey shaped her work and led to her book Get a PhD in YOU: A Course in Miraculous Self-Discovery
AND
*Julie leads a short guided meditation on gratitude, laughter, and receiving
(a reset you can experience right now)

Because when life gets loud, coping can look like:
overthinking, over-scrolling, overindulging.
And it pulls us away from the one signal that matters most.
