I was lucky enough to get to spend the summer interning for AKA North America in their creative studio. Man, did I learn a lot! From getting an inside view on the early stages of art development to what it’s like maintaining the design of a show as it continues a long run, this internship both pushed me as a designer and helped me trust my work. I cannot thank Morgan Dunn and Alex Rivera for being the best mentors ever and the entire studio for going out of their way to help me learn. Thank you AKA for an unforgettable summer!

CMON BALLROOM CATS!!!! is my most anticipated show of this year. I love a reinterpretation and representation of art/community that’s not always seen on Broadway.

It’s that time of year!!!! With nominations this morning, I am bringing back bway comic book covers and kicking this season off with Ragtime which I LOVED. 11 nominations, so well deserved!!!

This happens to be the only show I’ve seen of the season but I want to try and do the other 8 major musical nominees before Tony day!
