Gallery 1412 is a storefront performance venue in Seattle's Central District. We operate as a collective of independent artists, primarily musicians, but also writers, dancers, theatre artists and other fellow travelers. We've occupied the space since it changed hands from Polestar Music Gallery in the fall of 2004. Our purpose is twofold: to pool our energy and resources toward maintaining a spac
e for each of us to pursue our own individual projects; and to provide a supportive and approachable non-commercial event space for other artists from Seattle and around the world.

PLEASE: Before sending an e-mail take a moment to see what kind of art the gallery regularly presents to see if yours is appropriate to the space. To get a good idea of the amazing art and music happening here take a look at some of the posts here or on our website. We receive many inquires and while we try to respond to every sincere inquiry, it takes time. We are an organization of volunteers. Be aware that, because we are in a residential neighborhood, we have a much lower volume restriction than most venues. If you are a rock band, we will probably not book you. This is not necessarily a stylistic choice. The Gallery is also available for rehearsals, lessons, and meetings. Please contact us for more information. �For non-member shows the Gallery charges $50 + 30% of the door.
�For non-member rentals the Gallery charges $50 for the first 3 hours and $15/hour after.
�Gallery 1412 member-artists contribute 30% of the door for their shows.
�All merchandise proceeds go to the artists.
