You can see us working on new paintings and see the latest work up on our walls. Brooke Westlund is a native Seattle painter whose abstract paintings explore her love of life and the beautiful city of Seattle and all that it encompasses: texture, simplicity, complexity, movement, color, spontaneity, awareness. Brooke’s mixed media abstract paintings show her world through her photography, different types of paints, dry pigments, stamps, encyclopedia cut outs, high gloss varnishes, and found materials. She blends them with large brushstrokes, splatters, drips and bold colors. Most of Brooke’s time is spent in her studio and gallery in the eclectic Pike Place Market where you can find her most recent work. You can also see her work on display at Reclaim Decor, Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery and Alki Arts.

when I was a newer artist, I wish that there was somebody Real, who was an artist further along than me that I could pick their brain and ask questions about all the things… I want to help other artists as well as collectors understand me and my work and the process of ordering custom art or having a show and making it approachable.

I’m open. Let me know what you wanna hear about! Tell me in the comments.

All I see on my feed is other people trying to sell or tell you how to make videos and make hooks and editing and using a Tele proctor and it’s all just too much… 🫠 (going to be unfollowing those accounts is making me crazy)

but one video one take here and there I can totally do that. ⚡️
