Clinton Fearon Music My new album “Jah Is Love” is now available on all digital platforms, on vinyl and compact disc. My music is roots reggae from the island of Jamaica.

I grew up deep in the hills, up in St. Catherine, surrounded by nature, beauty and hard work. Even as a child, I knew I wanted to be a musician and began my career singing in church and at school, and eventually built my own guitar! As a teenager, my journeys took me to Kingston where I met many musicians and eventually began writing and recording music. The Skatalites, Motown artists and Jamaican musicians who came before me all influenced my music. I write from my heart. The world is full of inspirations…nature, people, politics, love. I write about them all. My music is good for the soul - always with a message of hope and betterment for tomorrow. It’s good for dancing, good for listening and appeals to the young and old.

TOUR ALERT ~ Get ready for history: Clinton Fearon sings The Gladiators all over Europe in 2027. For eighteen years, Clinton Fearon was the iconic bassist, vocalist and lyricist of this legendary band. Now established with his solo career, Clinton is going back to his roots and will revisit live the greatest classics he co-wrote —songs that shaped the history of reggae music. This fantastic project is being possible now, as Clinton Fearon is feeling confident with his partners on stage, the incredible musicians of The Riddim Source. And also thanks to the continuous work of our partner off stage, Baco Music . Together we are excited and extremely happy to present this project to you and hopefully we’ll be able to see you on the road soon.

Los Angeles, few minutes before getting on stage at the Dub Club. It's always a very special moment. I feel the butterflies. I’m very shy and wouldn’t go on stage if it wasn’t for the music and for all of you looking forward to share that moment with me. Give thanks and blessings for the love family!

We lost another reggae hero few days ago. Jackie Jackson was one of the most influential bass player in Jamaica, this goes without saying. He signed some of Jamaica's most stand out bass lines for Duke Reid. When I was 17 I saw him at Treasure Isle Studios playing a song for The Gladiators. I remember how smooth he was, steady, but the bass line, man, it was like he was dancing from the inside! That time at Duke Reid's was also the first time I saw the Gladiators... a year later I joined them. So many memories! Give thanks for the music my brother now rest well. Condolences to the family and friends.

COOKING ~ Clinton Fearon was the special guest of a cooking show in Canada, can you believe it? It happened few month ago before the Ska & Reggae Festival in Victoria. Clinton was contacted by Michael Kaeshammer to be part of his television program "Kaeshammer’s Kitchen”. He accepted the invitation and proposed to do our traditional breakfast, a Northwest version of Jamaican’s favorite callaloo and saltfish but with kale, smoke salmon and plantains. And then the two chefs left the kitchen to play a couple of songs together, Michael on piano and Clinton on the guitar singing. This was a very nice experience. Love - Music - Food. The essentials of life. Enjoy!
