A little over 10-years ago a sweet and kind of shy guy moved to Seattle for its arts and cultural scene. He wanted to meet like-minded people in his new city and joined the "New to Seattle" Facebook group. He started posting events where people could meet one another and explore our (new to some) home. Those events streamed to Seattle-area Facebook members. (Facebook was different then.)

That's how we met 10 years ago and it's been amazing ever since. We are now "Seattle A&E", sharing low-cost ($20 or less) and free events in the 206.

So here's to YOU the art enthusiasts, cinephiles, dance devotees, foodies and theater lovers - may you discover something new and wonderful in our Emerald City.
(Thanks to for this wonderful guide.) ~tmrc
