A 31-year legacy... and it's just getting started.

Co-founder Michael Brockman built SRJO alongside Clarence Acox into Seattle's premier jazz big band. This season marks his final concerts as Artistic Director. But the mission continues— on stage, in the classroom, and in the next generation of jazz musicians and fans.

GiveBIG early giving opens April 28, and every gift is matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. Your support keeps the band on stage, fuels the Clarence Acox Jazz Scholars program, and brings Jazz4Kids performances to families across the region.

Space was the place last night at Benaroya Hall as Orrin Evans led SRJO in a thrilling concert of the music of Sun Ra. There is a matinee show today at 2:00. Don't miss it!

Orrin is the third of three candidates for our new Artistic Director/Bandleader of SRJO. The band has beautifully met the challenge of playing for three different conductors. Now a selection needs to be made - your opinion matters.
