Known for her expansive abstract landscapes imbued with quilt-like textural lushness, Allison Collinsโ€™ paintings are untethered to any exact places. Imparting the emotion of encountering or traveling through open spaces, fields, sky, and vast expanses, the paintings are woven with deeply saturated hues of red, gold, and deep greens and blues.

Returning for its fifth year this September 17-24, 2026, Art Auction for Old Growth brings together Canadian artists, collectors, and conservation supporters to help protect some of British Columbiaโ€™s most endangered old-growth forests.

Founded by Toronto-based artist and environmental activist Kyle Scheurmann (kylescheurmann) in support of the Nature-Based Solutions Foundation, this yearโ€™s online auction features 23 new and returning artists from across Canada. Since launching in 2022, the auction has raised nearly $115,000 to support First Nation-led protected area initiatives across BC.
