It's time for another installment of "How We Met!"

Come join us on May 30th, as we welcome Gretchen & Sid, Megan & Jack, and Kat & Jack. The show features real-life Seattle improv couples as monologists, sharing the true stories of how they met, how they started dating, and how improv became part of their relationship. From first impressions and awkward beginnings to shared stages and shared lives, their stories inspire fully improvised scenes that explore the romance, comedy, and humanity behind it all.

Another "Not Another Isekai" to introduce you to is none other than musical powerhouse, Alex Engelberg!

"Alex Engelberg is a musician and lifelong performer in many musical situations. For the last 10 years, he has played the live accompaniment for improv shows all over Seattle, constantly fielding the question, ""do you ever get up there and do improv ON stage, too?"" He's thrilled to finally stop answering that with ""maybe someday!""

Find Alex in his natural improv habitat at Unexpected Productions, We Have Some Notes, Fancy Cafeteria, and Take 5 Improv. Alex can also be seen posting viral comedy songs and harmonizing with strangers on TikTok () and Instagram ()."

Announcing our new teen summer series with Broadway Bound!!!!

The JCI Teen Summer Improv Series is for students ages 12–18 who want to build confidence, creativity, and performance skills through improv.

Whether your teen is brand new to improv or already has some theater, comedy, or performance experience, each workshop offers a fun, active space to stretch their skills. Students will play improv games, create scenes, build characters, respond to prompts, and practice working together in the moment.

Because every improv session is different, returning students will not just be repeating the same intro class. Each workshop stands on its own and includes new games, fresh challenges, and opportunities to keep growing as a performer, storyteller, and collaborator. Students are welcome to sign up for one, two, or all three workshops, with each session offering more chances to build skills, try new things, and grow more confident.
