This week, for two nights only, catch Yael Bridge’s WHO MOVES AMERICA at the Forum! At a time where labor power is as crucial and important as ever, WHO MOVES AMERICA is another strong entry in a canon of labor rights filmmaking, demonstrating the cyclical fight that workers face at the hands of the capitalist class.

SYNOPSIS:
Who Moves America follows a UPS driver in California casting his first strike vote, a Teamster in New York who walked the picket line during the historic 1997 strike, and a warehouse worker in Kentucky balancing night shifts with community college, weighing whether she can afford to say no, as well as access to the General President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Sean O’Brien. As they and their co-workers organize, argue, and campaign across the country, the film builds toward a single, high-stakes vote: accept the deal, or risk everything for a strike that could reshape the American economy.

SYNOPSIS:
Down on their luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights are finishing up a long and unsuccessful tour, and are about to call it quits when they get an unexpected booking at an isolated, run-down club deep in the backwoods of Oregon. What seems merely to be a third-rate gig escalates into something much more sinister when they witness an act of violence backstage that they weren’t meant to see. Now trapped backstage, they must face off against the club’s depraved owner, Darcy Banker, a man who will do anything to protect the secrets of his nefarious enterprise.

Newly restored in beautiful 4K by , Rufus Butler Seder’s SCREAMPLAY is possibly one of the most incredible examples of maximalist DIY filmmaking to come out of the 80s. Shot entirely in his Boston apartment (which shocks this writer to this day), SCREAMPLAY is a wonderful tribute to old Hollywood (and its filmmaking techniques), and features some wildly fun kills and thrills. SYNOPSIS:
Inspired by absurd tabloid clippings he collected while on tour with Talking Heads with the question of “what if this was all true,” Byrne managed to create a collage of average middle-American life that elevates its subjects to the extraordinary. Moving between computer chip plants, mall fashion shows, and basement Voodou rituals, True Stories becomes the inverse of a film like David Lynch’s Blue Velvet (released the same year!) in that it seeks to find the good hidden underneath the (sometimes) hard exterior of American life deep in the heart of Texas.

The Collective Power Fund 2026 application is NOW OPEN!

2026 Collective Power Fund grants are project-based and distribute $60,000 in funding to 1 artist team/collective (10k) and 10 new works by individual artists (5k) to support the creation and presentation of visionary, new arts projects.

Collective Power Fund supports projects that incite public dialogue, pushes boundaries, explores genre fluidity, speaks its truth through an authentic perspective, and
is often non-traditional, anti-institutional, socially responsible, or disruptive of existing structures and conventions. It encourages a community-forward environment of resource-sharing, mutual support, and fellowship in the Pacific Northwest arts ecosystem.

While writing a monograph on historical theories of memory, Béatrice (Anne-Laure Sellier), a respected academic, becomes beguiled by the allegedly true story of the Chronovisor, an occult device said to reproduce visuals from any point in history on a TV screen.
