Today we’re looking at a new work by Yool Kim! The artist has created four new paintings for our upcoming exhibition at the Seattle Art Fair this July. We are looking forward to presenting them to you.

👋 ☀️ 🫶 In the gallery with Seattle based artist, Morgan Bak! We’re delighted to have her recent quilted works on view in our ‘Spring Into Summer’ group exhibition this month through June.

Bak’s paintings reference the artist’s own loose memories and scenes of mundane life to depict her relation to the world around her. The resulting paintings have a feeling of translucency and movement in their overlapping figurative and botanical forms; the limbs askew in angular directions, crossing over one another. The intent of these dynamic scenes are to demonstrate one’s interactions amongst others, human or otherwise.

Spring into Summer, A Group Exhibition | May - June 2026 | Featuring new works by Morgan Bak

Hall Spassov is pleased to present Morgan Bak’s latest quilted paintings. Drawing from personal memory and quiet moments of everyday life, Bak constructs layered compositions where figurative and botanical forms overlap with a sense of translucency and motion—limbs shifting in angular rhythms, intersecting and unfolding.
