What a wonderful gig Magic Key had at Kruckeberg Botanic Garden this past Friday for their Summer Solstice Celebration Community Picnic! Ourselves and 3 other groups played in areas across the 4 acre botanical garden that's nestled in the heart of Shoreline. If you've not experienced Kruckeberg Botanic Garden you should plan some time to take in this Shoreline jewel. BIG THANKS to Megan for inviting us and to JP and the staff for the warm welcome. Also a big shoutout to our West Seattle Ukulele Players uke family who came out to support us and take in the garden...BIG UKE 🥰!

Magic Key kicking off the Summer back at Main Street Commons in beautiful Edmonds! Just off the high from a magical gig the previous evening at Phinney Farmers Market, another fabulous PNW Summer day at one of our favorite places to play...Main Street Commons. Great crowd interaction, dancing, singing...especially fun when we sang "Centerfield" and "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" for the Panda Bananas girls softball team. Awesome music day!

First time for Phinney Farmers Market for Magic Key and it was spectacular. What a community spirit at the market held in the parking lot of the Phinney Neighborhood Association - PNA Community Center. Great crowd, great produce and food vendors, happy place! We're back again on August 24!

Coming up this Saturday, June 20! Magic Key: Unlocking the Joy of Ukulele will be playing at Kruckeberg Botanical Gardens in Shoreline for their Summer Solstice Picnic...a community celebration of the Solstice and the coming of Summer. Event runs 5 to 8 pm. Magic Key will be playing 5 to 7:15ish or so...but we could always stay for more 😁. Enjoy family, friends and community while touring the gardens and enjoying music throughout.
