Maple Leaf Halloween House Kaminsky Crafts is owned and operated by Tatiana (that's me). I've been an avid crafter for decades. I have met very few crafts I didn't like!

Organizer of the Maple Leaf Halloween House - providing a multimedia Halloween experience including 7 foot tall dragons, automated candy chutes, and books for trick or treaters! Most (though certainly not all) of my interest centers around fiber arts. I started with sewing (first quilts, then costumes for Halloween and Burning Man) then took up knitting, crochet, and needle felting. I've taken some classes, but am mostly self-taught from books, online resources, and experimentation. I'm a naturally curious person and am always trying new crafts and techniques.

The skeleton that my spouse is animating has had movements that are a bit choppy. So he (Clyde) has now been secured to a post and bolted onto his bar stool as the first step to making him more coordinated. Because, as all my OT and PT friends know… you can’t have distal control without proximal stability! And since Clyde lacks core musculature, his stability needs to be imposed from the outside.
