I recently visited my family in Central Virginia where I grew up. While I was there I painted the James River at Belle Isle, in Richmond. This view shows Hollywood Rapids with Hollywood Cemetery in the distance.

Come paint Mt. Si with me!
Join me for a plein air painting class at Three Forks Natural Area in Snoqualmie on Sunday, August 16, 8AM to 12:3O PM. We’ll paint the beautiful views of Mt. Si and the Snoqualmie River while I demonstrate my process and work with each student individually.
All skill levels are welcome! Whether you’re new to plein air painting or already love painting outdoors, I’d love to have you join me.

I’m currently visiting my family in Central Virginia. While I’m here, I’m helping my parents around the yard and I plan to paint, weather permitting. Yesterday was a nice cool day with a high in the upper 70’s and I painted a section of the woods beyond my parents property.
