How often do you remember to play? I haven't been painting much this year, but when I've given myself permission to just dabble with no expectation of a final product to monetize, I'm reminded why I even started down this path in the first place. If it's been a while, a week, a month, a year, a lifetime - then here is your invitation: go play. Follow your curiosity, get silly, get messy, just follow that impulse and revel in the mystery and possibility of it all.

Hiii, I'm still alive! Just been busy starting a gallery and event space the past 6+ months. Can y'all believe it's already September?Some things I've learned along the way:

• There is no such thing as failure, only learning. The gallery I was trying to start a year ago wasn't the right fit, and as soon as I let go of it, happened.

• The more specific I am about what I am dreaming of, the quicker and more accurately does the world around me shift to reflect it.

• I literally cannot do any of this without help. And the more comfortable I get with asking and receiving help, the more the dream grows to encompass all that we are dreaming of collectively.
