A community resource and haven for creative culture in the heart of Pike/Pine Corridor of the Capitol Hill Arts District in Seattle. We offer safe space and low costs for artists, community organizers, and individuals to practice and create the world they want to see. We offer 2 large studios, a common area, a kitchen, and many supplies and resources for our artists in residence and renters. Founded in 2004 by Vanessa DeWolf as a place where dialog and the practical creative process can intersect. In 2016 kt Shores became Artistic Director. A crew of brilliant working artists also help create this dream. They are our team of Managing Artist Directors - The MAD Team: Syniva Whitney, Laura Aschoff, Markeith Wiley, Angelina Baldoz, Will Courtney, and Corina Dalzell.
