You know, enough time has passed since doing this whole podcast thing. Been thinking about maybe making a setting book. If you were looking for a space opera setting, what would you deem as the most important thing?
Themes? Exploration? Just to name a few…
For me (the DM) it’s capturing the marriage of fantasy with the the shadow of future possibility.
There won’t be flying brigadier like vessels in here, but there will be organic ships whose watery flesh provides protection from solar radiation.

Anyways, curious to hear your thoughts!

Good dice roll.
Had it been less than they would have made camp on the giants foot, and then they would have had to survive a titanic battle between two beasts.

Finally 👏🏽 The Lore Segment Returns!

In this segment, we explore the lore of the "Nobles Alliance." Long ago before the Triumverate existed the "Council of Kings" reigned over all.
Royal families ruled planetary systems across the known universe. Eventually, these ancient ones cast aside the spears of war and took up the doves of peace. They created a pact amongst themselves that they would elect a ruler from amongst themselves with the power to make lightening decisions so that the Universe might know peace. Eventually, like all power structures, the Council of Kings eroded itself into the ground at the hands of the Mad King Heramus the Great, and his nobles fell to greed and hedonism. War, strife, and infighting occurred, nearly destroying much of what these old ones built. And thus came the Triumverate to control the pendulum of destiny and ensure the survival of life, no matter the cost.
Now, with their fall and threat of the Palladium Pact, the failing remnants of the Celestial Federation seek to return to the old ways. Join Rimrat and his hacking robot Chunks as they listen in on the most prominent members of the Nobles Alliance, and the election of their new king...
