Season Two is in full swing and it is truly a joy to listen to them interview key figures from Seattle's creative community. Folks like artists Jake Prendez and Angelina Villalobos (who was featured in the March issue of PublicDisplay.ART), educator Jessica Peña-Manalo, dancers Josh Grant and Chris Montoya, Northwest Folklife's Managing Director Reese Tanimura and Artistic Director Ben Hunter, and so many others.

You would be hard pressed to find better hosts. Each interview provides listeners with a deep dive into the minds who are leading the way in Seattle's arts community, but it is the knowledge, humor, and wit that Marcie Sillman and Vivian Phillips bring to each episode, that will have you coming back for more.

If not, we are happy to share the news that One Reel — the non-profit organization that publishes PublicDisplay.ART — is this year's arts organization recipient of Washington State's __________ Arts & Heritage Award. We can't spell out the prominent figure who presides over the awards for fear that the post will be auto-banned, but we hope you will join us in sharing our thanks to them and a big round of congratulations to ONE REEL!

If you are still looking for a copy of the new issue of PublicDisplay.ART(with cover by Mary Traverse), please remain vigilant! While we are a tad behind with our distribution efforts, we hope to finish distribution by tomorrow. So by then they will be available everywhere. If not, chances are the publications have already been snatched up in your neighborhood, despite our 25% increase in circulation!

While that's a good sign for us, it can be frustrating to our readers.
