Well, we are still getting the video/audio content for Medicine Ball: Playwrights v. Poets edited, cleaned up, and ready. Took longer than we thought it would.

But – for your entertainment – I found this monologue I created some time ago and completely forgot about.

It’s a monologue called – An Ordinary Man. On YouTube, but only audio.

The MB content is coming. Just taking more time than we thought.

We are holding auditions for a couple Medicine Ball: Playwrights v. Poets events coming up this year. Everyone is welcome to audition, but our intention is to diversify our ensembles. So we are encouraging performers who identify as people of color, LGBTQAA+, physically disabled, neurodiverse, and other historically under-represented groups in the art community to audition. Performers we know are also invited to just reach out and let us know if they are interested in participating in either of these events. The MB steering committee is committed to producing artistic events that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Project: Medicine Ball: Playwrights v. Poets Audition Date: Sunday March 22 Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Location: Stage One Theatre Compensation: Since these are short events, there is no compensation for participation. This is ideal for experienced performers seeking a short commitment to support the...
