I call this one “Recess”, it’s an acrylic painting on panel that I started in 2016. It’s seen several revisions since then and spent a lot of time hidden in storage. I’m really happy to see it out in the world in this final form! I wanted to pay homage to Harvey Comics, which I read by the bucketload as a kid. Titles like “Casper the Ghost” “Little Lotta” “Little Dot” & “Richie Rich” helped shape me into the weirdo I am today. You can see this painting at my show “Antiheroes” on 10/3 from 5-9PM! @ Seattle, Washington
