2021 was a whirlwind of a year! And to top it all off, we got an email from Sony Music Entertainment offering us a record deal! 🤯🤯🤯

Bad news, it's a scam.

While we had a good laugh about it over here on our end, this kind of scam could take advantage of an artist who isn't familiar with the industry.

Remember everyone, if an offer seems too good to be true, do your research!

(Even though that collab with Beyoncé would have been the cherry on top of an awesome year 😜).

Given that it's the end of the year, we've been feeling introspective and thinking about the advice we've been given along our journey.

We met a DJ at Shambhala Music Festival that said "if you want to make it in this industry, get your vices locked down now, because they will absolutely hold you back from your potential."

So, while a lot of other folks are out there partying this week, celebrating the Holidays and New Year and everything in-between, Deepstate. is hard at work.

(Nothing against partying, just working hard so you can catch us doing big things in 2022.)

One month, many stages.

Since quitting my office job 4 years ago, I’ve been pursuing one goal: perform for a living.

This past month was the first in which I was able to live that dream each and every day.

We played on many stages - DJing weddings, a concert in the park series, a couple nightclubs in Seattle, and our first festival!

Life has blessed us abundantly. Could not be more grateful for what’s come so far.
