It's such a thrill to find a painting in the wild, get it home, and start my investigation. I had never heard of Archie Boyd Teater (1901–1978) and now I know that he was once one of the most prolific painters in the U.S. and had the only Frank Lloyd Wright structure in Idaho, Teater's Knoll. He gifted this painting of the Grand Teton to his sister, Larena.

I try to research every painting that comes my way, it satisfies that little detective inside of me.🕵️‍♀️
