What’s different about us from other ecstatic or freeform dances?
1. We create spontaneous dances together. If you don’t like to dance with other people, this dance is NOT for you.
2. We draw from different improvisation disciplines including Releasing Technique, Interplay, Theatre Games and Contact Improv.
3. Our playlist is made up of American pop songs from the 1920s to the current with a little jazz and world music.
4. We’re small, 3-4 people currently. We’ll add new people 1 or 2 at a time.
5. We sing, speechify and vocalize a lot.
6. We LAUGH a lot. We love to be silly and playful.
