SeaTac BMX - PROGRAM DIRECTOR - Lain Van Ogle!
At SeaTac BMX, our mission is to harness the excitement of BMX racing to inspire youth, engage families, and foster growth within our community. We are dedicated to providing a safe space for outdoor recreation and a pathway for achievement.
After months of thoughtful discussions with industry leaders, community members, and local non-profit organizations centered around an effort to elevate our organization in 2025 and beyond, we are excited to announce the hiring of Lain Van Ogle as SeaTac BMX’s first Program Director.
Lain is a 10-time USA BMX National Champion and a 3-time UCI World Champion. In addition to his impressive achievements in BMX racing, he is a dedicated bicycle enthusiast, advocate, mentor, and coach– demonstrating his passion for two-wheels and the extended community through his one million social media followers. Lain’s legacy at SeaTac BMX is unparalleled, and we are eager to see him continue to build that legacy while developing BMX programming in our local community.
As Program Director, Lain will be the driving force behind all aspects of the on-site experience at SeaTac BMX, overseeing the development of sport and cultural programming, elevating the on-site experience, and providing inspiring, responsible leadership.
Please join us in welcoming him to this important role as we seek to better serve our SeaTac BMX home-track riders and provide more value for all who travel to ride, race, and enjoy our space in North SeaTac Park.

They will have a dj, games, programming and they have set up a race for us. They have video games.
They have a snack shack with nachos, snacks, sodas, wine, and beer.
The adjacent full service bar (street facing) will be open for our guests as well!Come out and celebrate a great year with us.
Everyone is welcome to join us. If you’ve raced SeaTac BMX this year, home track member or not, you’re invited!
We will also be accepting nomination for the end of the year awards for you all! Please click the link below and nominate a boy and girl for rider of the year and most improved. Rider must be a SeaTac BMX home track member to be eligible for the end of year awards. If you are unsure if someone is or not, still nominate them and we will sort through the votes.

With the weather looking like rain on Saturday, we want to make sure we can get our halloween race in with the most people. So we are moving it to tomorrow, Thursday October 24th. Come out and have some fun in some costumes, everyone bring some candy for Trunk-or-Treat during practice. Thank you everyone for being flexible with us. We will still leave the Saturday on the schedule and will announce that morning with at least 2 hours of notice if we cancel or not.

It’s time to fly, UNDER THE LIGHTS!
Tonight is the night we flip the switch at SeaTac BMX. As soon as sign ups are done, at 6:30pm, we are having a flip the switch ceremony to celebrate the new lights.
Come celebrate the next phase of SeaTac BMX, racing under the lights! With an incredible partnership with @cityofseatac and @kingcountyparks through the KC Levy we are able to take racing at SeaTac BMX to the next level. We would love for our community to come out and help us thank the city and its officials. Come watch us flip the switch and light up the action on the track.
