A little behind the scenes at Captain Kid Amusement Park! The Captain Kid family has been working hard to prepare for the 2026 season!!

The golf course has been scrubbed, vacuumed, and pruned! All the Go Karts have gotten fresh oil, air filters, tires, carburetors cleaned, greased up, and a scrub down inside and out! All the sidewalks have been pressure washed, and today’s project is fresh bearings in the Tubs of Adventure!

Just because we’re closed in the winter doesn’t mean we stop working. Here on the Oregon Coast a dry day is a work day!

Spring Break is just around the corner! We will be open 7 days a week starting Friday, March 20th, from 11AM to 6PM! Fingers crossed we have a dry spring break!🤞🏼

It’s a beautiful weekend on the Oregon coast! Captain Kid Amusement Park will be open today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) from 11AM to 4PM! Stop by for a race around our one of a kind Go Kart Track, or play a round of 18-hole mini golf! While you’re here don’t miss out on participating in our Shangrila Mining Sluice!

Please keep in mind that all of our amusement rides will remain closed until we open full time in March.

Captain Kid Amusement Park is now HIRING!
Come join the Captain Kid crew! We are looking for someone who is hard working, outgoing, and friendly! We need people who enjoy working with the public and want to have fun while doing it! Currently looking for someone 18 years or older who is physically fit enough to start gas powered engines, move go karts around, and operate rides. Retirees are encouraged to apply as well! Stop by the ticket booth any Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday from 11AM to 6PM and ask for Erika!

Unfortunately, we are having problems with our phone and internet provider for the ticket booth. We cannot get a tech here to look at it until the end of next week. Due to this we are unable to take calls at our normal number. In the meantime you can call 971-320-8206 for any questions! This phone will be in the ticket booth, and answered during our hours of operation.

We are normally closed at this time of year, however with the sunshine out we want to accommodate those who are out and about looking for fun things to do! So, this weekend January 25th and 26th we will be open from 11:00AM to 4:00PM for Go-Karts, Mini Golf, and our Mining Sluice!

Starting weekend number 2 at our pumpkin patch! Still just as exciting as ever! We will be open from 10AM to 5PM every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of October!! Even if it rains we’ll still be open for all sorts of fun!

Now, this is a pumpkin patch! T minus TWO days for the opening of our first pumpkin patch and fall fest! It has been a whirlwind of activity here, building games, scarecrows, decorating and organizing. We are purchasing our pumpkins from The Pumpkin Patch, Sauvie Island and they have been amazing and helpful to us! Hope to see everyone come out and enjoy. Maybe one day we will grow some of these beautiful pumpkins in the future! But, for now we thank these hard workers for their hard work as farmers in our area!
