Meet artists, see art, and, oftentimes, hear live music. Residents and visitors alike enjoy an evening of community and culture as various art venues within walking distance of each other host art exhibits and refreshments between 5-7 p.m. with the Seaside First Saturday Art Walk. The Seaside First Saturday Art Walk is a cultural arts event in The Historic Gilbert District. The District, establish

ed in 1914, celebrated 100 years of rich history and timeless tradition in 2014. Awarded the 2004 Oregon Main Street Downtown Gateway Award, the area is now home to shops, restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. Dedicated parking is located one block west off the Pacific Coast Highway 101, at Holladay and Broadway. The event observes COVID-19 guidelines. Masks are required and must cover the nose and mouth during the pandemic. Motto: "Those that live for the arts, support the arts."

Featuring Barbara Bacon Folawn and her new ocean landscapes. OHSU established an endowment in honor of environmentalist leader Dr. Robert Bacon, Folawn's father. Bacon advocated for the Beach Bill, a landmark law that guarantees public access to all 363 miles of the Oregon coastline. LIVE music by acoustic guitar musician Jason Lambert, 5-6 pm.

Rhonda is a retired mental health therapist whose artwork grows from the same sacred space as the human experience of grief and hope, rupture and repair, loss and renewal.
