Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre The program is over thirty-five years old and presents three high quality productions each summer for sellout crowds.

Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre (SSDT) is a summer community theatre program presented by the Department of Theatre at Harding University. Open auditions for the summer season are held in late April each year. Dinner starts at 6:30pm on show nights, production begins at 7:30pm. Show only ticket holders may arrive for seating around 7:15 - 7:20pm.

We are wrapping up our first weekend of the 2026 Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre season, we had WONDERFUL sold out audiences this weekend for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!!

We still have two more weekends with this delightful musical, but tickets are very limited - only three of our remaining performances have dinner and show tickets available, so hop on hardingtickets.com ASAP to grab yours today before we sell out!

Auditions for our 2026 Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre season are this Sunday! These auditions are come and go from 1pm-4pm in the Ulrey Performing Arts Center (409 Dr. Jimmy Carr Dr., Searcy, AR 72143) - we have a little more information about the shows below, we are excited to see you this weekend!

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
(Performance dates: June 11-13, 18-20, and 25-27)

Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang explore life’s great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, swoon over their crushes and celebrate the joy of friendship.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong
By Jonathan Sayer, Henry Lewis, Henry Shields
(Performance dates: July 16-18, 23-25, and 30-August 1, with a reprise August 20-22)

Brace yourselves for an awfully big adventure when the inept and accident-prone Cornley Drama Society set out to present J.M. Barrie’s much-loved classic tale of Peter Pan, their most audacious production to date.

Auditions will consist of cold readings and some movement-based activities – no preparation is necessary!
