Hey friends here is my response to your comments on the video where River and I were playing drums. Thank you for all of your positive messages and for wanting River to have fun! I'm also addressing some of the lack of understanding of River and of brain injuries in general in my response. Have a blessed day!

The physical therapy exercises that River's medical team gave us to do with the stander are already helping so much even just after a few weeks. Today is the straightest angle River has reached on the stander while atill holdimg his head. Thank you to Rifton for creating this stander and believing in brain injured kids. You guys are amazing. And a big yhank you to River's medical team and River's podiatrist for making that happen for River. You guys are the best!

River got so excited on drums yesterday. His therapist was here and noticed how much River loves the drums. One thing that is crazy is that whenever River is not having the best day with his breathing or secretions, getting on the drums always makes it better for him. It's amazing how when we do something we love it makes us feel better ❤️

Our church had a nice Display of Back to the future for the kids. It was such a nice service. Daisy was dancing and twirling to the music and it felt so good to sit with River, think about life and see how far we have come ❤️

I feel an amazing connection with some of you guys. Clearly a soul reunion 🌞
