Mayor Desiderio invites the community to Sea Isle City's second annual Women Veterans Recognition Day Ceremony TODAY at 10am at Veterans Park.

Featuring: guest speakers, local dignitaries, Quilts of Valor presentation, a memorial wreath placement, patriotic hymns, and prayers for our nation's female soldiers and veterans.

Although, there are nearly 2-million women who are U.S. veterans, this date is not yet recognized nationally; however, New Jersey is among the few states that do recognize this important day – and Sea Isle City is proud to honor our women veterans every June 12.
