This Sunday, May 31, Helping Hoppel - a benefit show for Dan Hoppel at Voodoo Brewing Co. - Scranton Pub will feature live music by Duds, Eibes, and Squid Sterling as well as a massive lineup of comedians, including Russell Austin, John Bubul, Joey B. Donuts, Elliott Elliott, Ryan P Flaherty, Billy Krase, Ryan Manzo, Trisha Marie, Angelia Petrillo, Sean Wheeler, and PACT - PA Comedy Troupe, all for $10 at the door! We'll also have basket raffles and a $15 pasta dinner (pasta with sauce, optional meatballs, and a sweet treat). This show is all-ages, but keep in mind that there will be some adult language from the comics. Dan has been battling kidney disease, so whether you know him from his comedy shows, the NEPA Scene Open Mic, The Keys, or his Twitch live streams or you're just meeting him for the first time, come out and lift his spirits! We'll see you there!

Tied late in the third period of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Toronto Marlies took a 3-2 lead with 1:35 seconds left to play and added an empty net goal to win 4-2 against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday at 7:05 p.m.
