Linn McDonald School of Dance proudly presents their Senior Show featuring Coppélia, a beloved comic ballet.
Coppélia tells the whimsical story of the eccentric toymaker Dr. Coppélius and his life-sized mechanical doll, Coppélia. When a young villager, Franz, becomes enchanted by the doll, his fiancée Swanilda takes matters into her own hands. Sneaking into the inventor’s workshop, Swanilda uncovers the truth and disguises herself as Coppélia in an effort to save Franz from the toymaker’s magic.
The performance will also feature “A Tribute to Broadway,” an exciting assortment of choreographed pieces set to classic Broadway hits.
Tickets go on sale Monday, June 1 at 9:00 AM.
