Four years ago today, I introduced the world to Dragonfly Dreamer!

What started as a small idea has grown into something I never could have imagined — a full-scale business, a creative outlet, a community, and such a meaningful part of my life.

For those who may be new to this page, I want to share a little bit of the story behind Dragonfly Dreamer.

In December 2020, I unexpectedly lost my mother. I was overwhelmed by grief and searching for something — that would help me cope with the loss. I started making crafts and home décor, not knowing where it would lead, simply because creating gave me somewhere to put the feelings I didn’t always know how to carry.

By 2022, I had created so many things that I was running out of people to give them to. My brother suggested that maybe I should start a business. And my answer was to look at him and laugh!

What began as a way to cope with grief slowly became something so much bigger. It gave me a place to create, to connect, to meet people, to make others smile, and to build something that was truly my own.

Over these past four years, I have been incredibly blessed to meet customers who continue to trust Dragonfly Dreamer with their gifts and special occasions. I’ve met so many talented, creative vendors who started as fellow vendors and became genuine friends.

When I look back, I realize Dragonfly Dreamer is about so much more than wreaths, earrings, crafts, and home décor.

It is a reminder that sometimes something beautiful can grow from one of the hardest seasons of our lives. ❤️

Four years later, I am incredibly proud of how far this little company has come, incredibly grateful for every person who has supported it, and excited to see where the next chapter takes us.

Thank you for believing in Dragonfly Dreamer, shopping with us, sharing our posts, stopping at our tables, recommending us to your friends, and simply cheering us on. Every order, every kind word, every conversation, and every familiar face has meant more than you know.

Here’s to four years of creativity, community, healing, growth, and dreaming.
