Bowling Green native Sam Lock—one of Nashville’s fastest rising fiddlers—takes the stage with a sound that’s anything but ordinary. Blending bluegrass and old-time traditions with touches of jazz and Western swing, Sam brings a fresh, dynamic edge to every performance. From local favorites like Bueler’s Day Off and the Clay Powell Trio to Nashville’s 17-piece Western swing powerhouse The Cowtown Dozen, Sam’s versatility has made him a sought-after talent—touring nationally with artists including Hayden Blount, Zandi Holup, Addie Levy, and even the legendary Andrea Bocelli.

And that’s not all…

Joining the show are the Red River Fiddlers, a beloved student ensemble celebrating over 20 years of preserving and performing American fiddle traditions. From old-time and Celtic to bluegrass, contest style, Western swing, and blues, these talented young musicians carry on a rich musical legacy—bringing energy, heart, and authenticity to every note.

Kentucky Just Us is coming to LIVE at the Lyric on Saturday, April 25th as part of the First Bank concert series! Celebrating 10 incredible years of making music—and they’re just getting started! This dynamic, award-winning band from Glasgow, KY, is lighting up the Americana scene with their electrifying blend of Country, Bluegrass, and Folk. Known for their tight harmonies, masterful musicianship, and powerful stage presence, they bring heart-pounding energy and soul to every performance.
Led by National Banjo Champion Jesse Meador, their single “Homeward Bound” soared to the top of charts worldwide, including #1 on Roots Music Report, Bluegrass Borderline, and Mountain Bluegrass. Their sound—equal parts tradition and innovation—continues to resonate with fans across the globe.

First Bank’s LIVE at the Lyric features Nanseera, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter with an old soul and distinctive style. The mixed-race, London-born performer grew up in Uganda and Ethiopia, moving to the US for high school and college, with a semester in France. Her travels and adjustments bring a nuanced worldview to her music. Inspired by Tracy Chapman, Lianne LaHavas, and Sheryl Crow, she tells poetic stories of losing and finding home, love, and self. Nanseera has performed on three continents, completed her first tour, "The Colours Tour," and released singles "Colours" and "Still Cry" from her 2025 EP “I Wish You Love."
