✨ Almost finished – still on my needles ✨

My beautiful by PetiteKnit is still a work in progress, but I’m getting closer and closer to finishing it! I’m knitting it with and by Sandnes Garn, and the combination is so wonderfully soft, fluffy, and cozy. 🤍

Right now, I’m working on the double-knitted button band. It’s definitely a true labor of love (Fleißarbeit 😊), but I’m completely in love with how beautiful and polished the finished edge looks. It’s my first time knitting a double button band, and I think it gives the cardigan such a special finish.

Even though it’s still very warm outside, I’m already dreaming of cooler temperatures and can’t wait to finally wrap myself up in this cozy cardigan. 🍂🧶

Here you can see the gorgeous savoryknitting timelessly knitted in classic black and white. 🤍🖤

You can wrap it twice for a cozy, fitted look around your neck or wear it loose and relaxed, just like Laurie does. The pattern includes three different lengths- Laurie is wearing the medium size here.

This cowl can be knitted in DK-weight yarn, but sport-weight yarn can also work beautifully. We have so many wonderful yarn possibilities available for you! 🧶

Join us for our Chunky Knit Handbag Workshop with Dagmar dagmar and spend a wonderful, creative afternoon making your very own beautiful handbag, completely by hand! No needles and no previous knitting experience are needed. Dagmar will guide you step by step, and everyone will leave with a finished chunky knit handbag to take home and enjoy. 👜🧶

Bring a friend, your mom, your daughter, or someone special and create beautiful memories together. The finished handbag also makes a wonderful handmade gift - although you may find it a little too beautiful to give away! 💕

All materials for one complete handbag, bamboo handles, and a special little accessory from Dagmar are included. You can choose from six gorgeous colors when signing up. Dagmar will also bring her charming little “Candy Bar,” filled with optional accessories to personalize and dress up your bag even more.

We All Start Somewhere 🧶

Yesterday, we had the second part of our First & Second Stitches – Learn to Knit class, and we talked about what a wonderful first project could be. 🧶

That conversation made me think about my own first knitted garment: the Ranunculus Tee.

It is far from perfect. Back then, I didn’t even know how to join a new ball of yarn, you can see the knots all over! I also ran out of yarn, which is why the hem is a different color. But somehow, I made it work.

I knitted it together with two wonderful friends, we all made the same project, helped one another, and learned along the way.

That is the beauty of knitting: we simply start. With every project and every single stitch, we learn a little more. 💛
