September is National Yoga Month! ✨🧘🏼♀️
As I reflect on and celebrate my own yoga path, I’d love to hear what yoga means to you!
For me, yoga allows me to pause my busy mind and examine what I really want to get out of life. It gives me perspective. A few things that I wish for are joy, fulfillment, freedom, and ultimately… PEACE. Peace which cannot be bought, but only experienced through patience and devotion. My yoga practice might look completely different from yours or my teacher’s or student’s practice and that’s ok! One thing the journey has taught me is how important it is to be consistent, always curious in learning and honoring the traditions & lineages, and to stay humble to whatever “practice” works best for me and my body (mental & physical).
