Introductory Voice-Over Workshop
Have you ever been told you have a great voice? Curious about voice acting — and how people actually make money doing it? This fun, beginner-friendly workshop is your perfect first step into the world of voice over. Led by experienced voice-over actors, Dave Fouquette and Jennifer Munroe, this hands-on class pulls back the curtain on the voice-over industry and gives you practical skills you can use right away.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
• What voice over really is — and the main VO mediums
• How people get paid work using only their voice
• Microphone basics and simple home studio setup (yes, even your closet counts!)
• How to break down scripts and take direction like a pro
• The truth about SAG/AFTRA, agents, demos, and common VO myths
• LIVE performance coaching (bring copy/scripts to work with)
• What your next steps look like if you want to pursue voice over seriously
No experience necessary — all are welcome.

Meet your instructors:
Jennifer Munroe - Jennifer Munroe is the founder of Divine Voice Ventures and a professional voice over narrator specializing in communication-driven storytelling. Through Divine Voice Ventures, she trains aspiring and emerging Voice over talent, focusing on practical technique, mindset mastery, and authentic delivery.
Dave Fouquette - Dave Fouquette has worked as a professional voice actor since the ’90s—twenty-plus years in LA, now back in Arizona with a home studio. Dave voiced National commercial spots for Alka-Seltzer Plus, Snickers, Clorox, and American Express. Also voiced promos, animation, celeb sound-alikes; and characters in Diablo, God of War, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Batman: Arkham Knight. Still at it, recording daily out of his home studio.
