My recent marathon session was an adventure, as always!😁 In the beginning, the river killed me for a while, but then it began cooperating, allowing me to get max value on a lot of nutty hands. I was stacked twice near the beginning, with one being a failed semi-bluff, but fortunately, I had many successful bluffs afterwards. I won a few big coolers, chopped a couple hands, and stacked a lot of players, sometimes the same player multiple times!😯 I won a big heads-up pot with runner-runner nut straight vs. 2nd nut straight, and a huge headsup pot with the nut straight vs. one pair.

I won multiple insane hands, mainly from one specific player who angrily slammed chips into the felt while yelling out of frustration.😲 "You keep bluffing and getting there!" He complained. "I wasn't bluffing," I replied calmly. "I had top pair and the nut flush draw." "It's bluffing if you're behind!" He yelled back. "What?!" The whole table simultaneously erupted in laughter and jokes.😂

I eventually got myself very stuck for a while, but I was determined to make a big comeback. One hand threatened to tilt me, but it wasn't because I lost. I still won, but missed my river bink due to a careless dealer error. I saw my boat on the river momentarily, before Floor was called and the Ace was shuffled back into the deck. This changed the hand, and I didn't receive the High Hand Promo, which I would've won with Aces full.😟

I cashed out at my absolute peak for a nice profit. I love this game so much, and I can't wait for the next adventure!😊

This is one of the funniest things a player has ever said to me before even seeing the flop.😂 (Phew! I'm glad he only has a pair!) This one took place during my most recent poker session. There are more reels from it in the works, and on the way!

Thanks so much for watching! I appreciate you.😊🙏

This is what happens when I use a substitute photographer. There's a learning curve, apparently... 😂

River Bluff with 4th Pair!😈

Position is everything...
I share most of my hands in my Stories, good or bad, but a few of them make it onto reels (although I'm not technically allowed to record at the table). This one was up next in the queue from my last 2/3 session... Would you have bluffed the river here?🤔

Thank you for watching, liking & commenting!😊🙏

This one was SO unexpected!🤩
It's definitely the sickest hand of my last session.

~$2/3 No-Limit~ 🐼 In the BB
▪︎ PREFLOP: A few limps
• HJ opens to $15. I call, heads-up! ($40)
(This lag rec-reg and I are friendly; we've played together several times.)
▪︎ FLOP: Check, check
▪︎ TURN: HJ bets $20
• I check-raise to $60
• HJ re-raises to $160 😯

As I consider my options, my opponent misreads my hesitation, and enthusiastically offers me a handicap in true, jovial, Santa Clause fashion (this doesn't happen often, trust me). "Here, I'll let you see one of my cards! You want to pick a card?" He asks me a FEW times, as he spreads out his hole cards for me to choose from. I immediately feel uncomfortable, as I have the absolute NUTS, and he clearly has NO idea that he's drawing dead with a capital D. The whole table is grinning at me in anticipation.

"You want to show me one of your cards? Why would you want to do that?!" I ask in a bemused tone, showing equal parts amusement, curiosity, surprise, and suspicion. After all, it might seem weird to remain stoic and not respond at all. It's also slightly suspicious not to accept such a gracious freebie if I'm weak (but if I'm actually weak, would I really want to advertise it by eagerly picking a card?), so I try to play it off as naturally as possible. After a moment...

• I 4-bet to $400. He calls fairly quickly. ($840)
▪︎ RIVER: I shove. He calls for $652! ($2,144)
He shows AK. I scoop a $2.1k+ pot with the nuts!🤩
I can hardly believe it...

What do you think about this hand?
♠️ Do you think a poker player with the nuts would ever be willing to look at his/her opponent's card when offered mid-hand, just to feign weakness and get paid off?🤔

🩶 Thanks for your support!🙏 This Reel is actually one of my test drafts. The clips I was editing were accidentally deleted from my phone.🫤

When low funds + degen curiosity come together!😆

What if I grind 1/2 NL all day? Will I hate playing against super short stacks and unpredictable, inexperienced players or will I enjoy slowly building a massive stack until none of my opponents can stack me?😁 What do you think?🤔
