🍑 Small Town Support for Riley Children’s Hospital 💛

Hey friends! I’m bringing in farm-fresh Georgia peaches to help raise money for Riley Children’s Hospital/Foundation, and we’d love for our community to be part of it.

These peaches are the real deal—hand-picked just 24–48 hours before they arrive from the farm in Georgia and packed in 8–9 lb. boxes. Straight from the farm to our hometown 🍑

🚚 Pickup Details:
The Peach Truck will deliver all orders to the Salem Walmart parking lot for pickup.

👉 Scottsburg perk: If you’re local, you can skip the Salem Walmart parking lot pickup and grab your peaches right here at 752 Cafe/82 Building for convenience!

📅 Timing:
Pickup will be during the first two weeks of July, with the exact date announced in late June.

Dear Business Owner,

We respectfully invite you to consider supporting a hometown event that has become a meaningful part of our community.

For many years, community surveys and conversations reflected a strong desire for more events in our historic downtown. In response, in 2022, Angie and I, together with our parents, family, and friends, founded Summer Music on the Square to bring quality, family-friendly entertainment to our community.

In its first year, the event featured thirteen small, locally based performances held at our location at 45 North First Street. In 2023, through the generous support of area sponsors, we expanded our programming to include regional performers, including Grammy Award–winning bluegrass fiddler Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper. That year, attendance exceeded 1,200 guests, and we were able to add five additional concerts.

In 2024 and 2025, the event continued to grow. First Street was closed to accommodate larger crowds, and total attendance exceeded 7,000 guests each year—bringing quality live entertainment to more than 14,000 attendees over those two years.

This event is made possible through the support of local businesses that help underwrite the cost of entertainment. Without this support, it would not be possible to provide these concerts free of charge to the community. For the first four years, we were grateful for assistance from the Scott County Visitors Commission; however, due to changes in funding priorities, we are now seeking additional sponsors to ensure the future of this event and preserve free public access.

Planning for this event takes place year-round as we secure performers and manage costs. Our fundraising goal for 2026 is $20,000, which will allow us to present seven concerts. We are also planning a special additional event this year at Beechwood Park.

Enclosed you will find a flyer outlining our 2026 sponsorship opportunities. We would welcome the opportunity to partner with your business and recognize your support through exposure to our large and engaged audience. I will be making personal visits to potential sponsors and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss this partnership.
