Yesterday our Fall season came to a close at Semi-State after not being named a State Finalist for Class C. The students left it all on the field and gave a fantastic performance - as a staff, we could not have asked for much more from that performance. Everything we had spent a lot of time on really translated pretty darn well. We all felt great coming off the field. More than anything, that's all you can ask for!

We are extremely proud of all of our students and the work, growth, and maturity they displayed throughout the season. It's incredible what the show grew into since the summer months. The kids stayed the course and really worked hard to make this show come to life.

Thank you to our seniors for your work and efforts this season. We know the result is not what was wished for; life doesn't always give what is desired, as you know. Be proud of what you did this season and helped the group accomplish. As a staff, we cannot wait to see what you do the rest of this school year and in the coming years as your futures and careers unfold. You will always have a legacy and place cemented in this program's history.

To all the parents that graciously volunteer your time and efforts: thank you. We simply cannot enjoy this activity without your support and giving of your talents. You know who you are!

Thanks to our drivers for giving up your weekends to get us and our equipment to each contest site. We sincerely appreciate your support!

Thanks also to our administration at SCSD2 for allowing us to do the things we do, including performing on the national stages with Bands of America each season.

Until next time.....it's time to gear up for pep band, solo & ensemble, winter concert, winter guard, and winter percussion.

Thank you to all who came out tonight to our Open Practice and Community Performance! It was so cool seeing so many people pack the track and watch HOW we do what we do!

The kids capped it off with a fantastic run of their show “Stained” in front of lots of family and friends!

They are ready for Semistate! Please pack the stands at 1:45 pm at Decatur Central High School and cheer these amazing kids on to an incredible performance!
