Now he’s bringing the full Jordan Gillis Band to Two Sisters Square for a night of rock, soul, blues, funk, and the high-energy live show that has made them a local favorite.

This Friday at 6 PM, we’re excited to introduce one of Nashville’s most promising young artists to the Two Sisters Square stage.

Originally from Los Angeles and now making waves in Nashville, Derick is a singer-songwriter and guitar virtuoso whose talent is turning heads everywhere he plays. ☔️ SHOW CANCELED TONIGHT ☔️

After carefully watching the forecast and discussing the situation, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s performance featuring The Alabama Heathens and Samuel Isaac Penn.

As an outdoor venue, we simply can’t provide the experience our audience, volunteers, and musicians deserve when heavy rain is expected throughout the evening. While weather forecasts aren’t always right around here, the likelihood of rain impacting the show, and causing many folks to make other plans makes this the best decision.

We hate it for the bands, and we hate it for everyone who was looking forward to a night of live music at Two Sisters Square.

As many of you know, we’re still in the early stages of building something special here in downtown Scottsboro. One of our goals is to develop indoor backup options for nights like this. We are actively looking for opportunities and partners that might allow us to pivot indoors when weather threatens an event, but nothing has developed yet.

We are already working with The Alabama Heathens on a reschedule date and hope to welcome them back soon.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support as we grow. Every show, every volunteer, every sponsor, and every guest helps us move one step closer to making Two Sisters Square a year-round destination for arts, music, and community.
