I’ve been getting this question A LOT lately:

“Can I bring my own jewelry for you to pierce me with?”

The answer is no — and it’s not because I just want you to buy jewelry from me.

Nebraska has strict sanitation and sterilization requirements for body piercing, including requirements for jewelry used in a fresh piercing. Because I cannot verify the material, quality, history, or proper sterilization of jewelry brought in from outside my studio, Black Iris does not pierce with outside jewelry.

When you’re pierced by me, I want you to know exactly what is going into your body.

My jewelry and equipment are handled according to strict sanitation and sterilization procedures, and the jewelry I offer for initial piercings is specifically selected with fresh piercings in mind.

So when you sit in my chair, you can rest assured that cleanliness, quality, and your safety are at the top of my priority list.

I’m officially back from Nashville and ready to get back behind the needle this week!

My schedule is almost completely booked this week, but I still have a few random openings here and there — and I have more availability going into next week.

I STILL DON’T HAVE THE WORDS. 🖤

Yesterday absolutely blew me away.

To every single person who showed up for my walk-in day — THANK YOU. The amount of support you continue to show Black Iris is something I will never take for granted.

You guys showed up so hard that I ran out of several supplies AND soooo much jewelry. 😂 So today, I’m placing overnight orders and restocking because apparently you all came ready to get pierced! Which mean…FRESH NEW JEWELRY COMING SOON!

And to those of you I had to turn away because I simply couldn’t get everyone in — please message me! I want to get you taken care of and into my schedule.

Seriously… watching Black Iris grow and seeing that many people walk through the door to support my little business is unreal.
