🐉 SESSION 1 ➡️ SESSION 2 — COMPLETE! 🌸

There’s something satisfying about seeing a tattoo go from that first-session foundation to the finished piece.

Session one was all about establishing the composition, linework, shading, and laying the groundwork for this dragon and Hannya mask piece. For the second and final session, we came back in to deepen the blacks, build more contrast and dimension, finish the scales and details, and add those pops of red/pink through the eyes and flowers.

The limited color against the black & grey really makes this one stand out without overpowering all that detail. 🔥

Kicking off the upper half of this sleeve with a piece built around two very different faces — one hiding behind the smile, the other showing what lies underneath.

This is only the first sitting, but we’ve already established the direction, contrast, and flow that will set the tone for the rest of the upper arm. There’s a lot more coming as we continue building this sleeve and tying everything together.

Can’t wait to see this one develop. 🔥

When the Mojave Desert gets a little too weird… 😂

This custom calf piece is a mash-up of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Rango, bringing that unmistakable desert chaos together into one wild design.

This is the FIRST SITTING — we got the majority of the linework, black & grey, and foundation established, along with the first hits of color in those hypnotic lenses. One more session to go where we’ll finish the remaining details, push the contrast and saturation, and bring the whole piece across the finish line.

Definitely one of those projects that's as much fun to tattoo as it is to look at.

🌑 FIRST SITTING — COVER-UP PROJECT 🌑

What started as a row of colorful stars is becoming an entirely new piece.

This is the first sitting of two on this space-themed cover-up. We laid the foundation, established the heavy blacks, planets, eclipse, and landscape, while using the new composition to completely transform the original tattoo.

One more session will complete it, adding more saturation throughout the piece, reinforcing some of the darker areas, and bringing in additional whites and highlights to really make the depth and details pop.

Cover-ups don’t always have to look like cover-ups. With the right design and a little planning, an old tattoo can become the foundation for something completely new.
