Info about these shows and production:

This production will consist of two short TYA shows centered around the theme of dragons. We are casting for both shows in these auditions, and it is possible that some actors will be cast in both. Imagine a Dragon is a musical, so all actors who wish to be considered for that show must be prepared to sing in their audition. See those requirements further below.

Imagine a Dragon - At a struggling inn, a simple rumor about a dragon brings unexpected guests – and unexpected consequences. An epic folk-rock score brings magic to this funny, heartfelt fantasy musical about the power of community.

Dragons Love Tacos - You know what Dragons really love? Tacos of course! A boy and his dog are watching a TV show about dragons when they unexpectedly get caught up in the 'Dos and Don'ts' of what to serve to dragons to eat. Dragons love tacos, but if they accidentally eat spicy salsa...watch out!

----------------------------------------------------------------

Rehearsals will begin around November 1.

Please be prepared to list all conflicts between November 1 and January 30 to audition form.

CONFLICTS - "Not at this time" is not an answer. We will only consider 2 conflicts for the run of the rehearsal process. Any more is at the discretion of the director. No conflicts are allowed for the mandatory tech week or performances. If you are auditioning for another show, please let us know.

Mandatory Tech Week - January 10-14, 2027

GO BACK FOR MURDER

By Agatha Christie
Directed By Barry N. West
October 16 – November 8, 2026

Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 3PM with added show Saturday 10/24 at 3PM

After receiving a letter from beyond the grave, Carla Crale believes her mother, who died in prison, was wrongly convicted of her father’s murder. In a passionate attempt to clear her name, she persuades those present on the day of her father’s death to return to the scene of the crime and ‘go back’ 16 years to recount their version of events.
An unusual take on the traditional murder mystery, the play slips seamlessly from past to present, examining the danger of relying on personal testimony warped by time, prejudice and perception. By studying each suspect’s testimony, and the various inconsistencies among them, the drama arrives at a disturbing and terrible truth.

CAST:

Justin Fogg – James Cogwell
Turnball – Jim Dexter
Carla/Caroline Crale – Sydney Webb
Jeff Rogers – Chaz Cable
Philip Blake – Desi Evans
Meredith Blake – DeWayne Morgan*
Lady Elsa Melksham – Alexandra Childers
