The MET!!!!!! I am so thrilled to share that I was commissioned to create a holiday card in collaboration with Minted and the MET museum!! Working with the iconic MET Museum is something I had never imagined and I am so thankful for this opportunity.
10 Minted artists were commissioned to create a holiday card inspired by the MET this year. When I was given artifacts to choose from, I chose Currier and Ive's Central Park in Winter. A complex piece but so magical. Being given a piece about New York to be inspired from felt so special as it is one of my favorite cities in the world and I have had truly magical moments in this city. Illustrating the Central Park just felt so surreal.
This piece is created with Charcoal and Gouache in a Toile style which I have been loving offlate.
It is now available as a Photo and Non-Photo holiday card and online and at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

My Minted art “Transportation Alphabet” and “Dino fossils” have launched 😍 Five other works from previous years (Space alphabet, Ocean Friends, Alphabet Dinos, Love you to the moon and Magical Unicorn) will also continue to be sold for another year! Alphabet Dinos still going strong for a fifth year in a row! Pure joy!! Thank you for all the love!! ❤️

Another BIG announcement! 😍 My “Transportation Alphabet” won the 1st place in x art challenge! “Dino Fossils” also got a pick! These will launch in early 2024!! So incredibly grateful to have won this again after 4 years. Lots of love to all the people who loved it and voted for it. Sometimes dreams come true, twice 😍✨

I’m thrilled to announce my “Linocut Woodland” won the 2nd place in Minted’s biggest and toughest design challenge of the year- non-foil holiday photo card. It’s my first ever pick in the category so that makes it extra special. Thank you Minted and to all the people who loved it and voted for it. This challenge draws 6000+ submissions each year from designers all over the world, placing 2nd is something I had never imagined and I still can’t believe it! It’s such an honor!! Thank you thank you everyone!! ❤️❤️❤️

Yesterday I had this incredible opportunity to visit the office in San Francisco and meet with some amazing people! Three years ago I collaborated with my 6yo Atharv who loves dinosaurs and created “Alphabet Dinos” that won the Minted x Pottery Barn Kids x PBTeen art challenge. As part of winning I would get to visit the PBK and Minted offices and meet with the teams. I’m so glad the stars aligned and it was made possible yesterday, incredibly thankful to Deborah and Brianne for making this once-in-a-lifetime kind of opportunity possible. I will cherish all the experiences and conversations I had yesterday for years to come. Thank you!

Mariam Naficy, founder of Minted, considered calling it quits after finding little success selling “Save the Date” cards for weddings. After pivoting to become a holiday card company, Minted skyrocketed to success and stays true to its mission of empowering independent artists.

Super excited to learn that I will soon have 4 more wall art pieces launching to !!! “Space Alphabet” placed 5th in the x wall art challenge!! “ Love You to the Moon”, “Dino Friends” and “Ocean Friends” also got a pick. These pieces in addition to my 7 other wall art pieces that are currently sold on have made my crazy wild dream come true!! Incredibly grateful to my family, my mentor, my buddies and everyone who voted, selected and has bought my art! I am beyond thrilled and thankful!! 😍

DISNEY again!!! and chose two of my designs “Dumbo” and “Simba” to be part of their first ever minted x Disney stationery collection. Both pieces are hand painted gouache illustrations so getting the character proportions, poses and expressions right was especially challenging since Disney is extremely stringent on these things, glad they liked my end result 😍 Dumbo is also top voted which makes it extra special 😍 Super grateful and excited 😊
