Since 2023, these three have made it a tradition to take a picture together under the curtain on the day of the recital. Juliette and Hannah graduated from high school last year, and now Luba has graduated this year. At this point, I think they're officially committed to coming back every year for another photo!
Some traditions are just too special to let go. Once a MAFA family member, always a MAFA family member! I will see you under the curtain in 2027!!

Another successful MAFA dance recital is in the books!!
What makes MAFA so special is that it’s more than a dance studio, it’s a family. From our dedicated teachers who pour their hearts into every class, to the dance families who support, encourage, and cheer each other on, this community is truly something special.
We are so proud of every dancer who took the stage and shared their hard work, confidence, and passion. Thank you to our incredible teachers, parents, volunteers, and students for making this recital such a memorable celebration.
Together, we've built a place where friendships grow, dreams are encouraged, and everyone feels like they belong. Here's to another amazing year of dancing!! 🤩🙄😍🩰

This marks the end of our seniors’ MAFA dance era! We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and wish you nothing but success in your college journeys ahead. No matter where life takes you, you will always be part of the MAFA family. Thank you for the memories, dedication, and passion you brought to the studio. This weekend was the last regional competition for our graduating seniors, Grace and Kaitlyn. Their dedication,hard work, and passion have left a lasting mark on this team, MAFA students and especially the teachers.
As this chapter closes, know that this is not the end. This is just the beginning of everything that is ahead. Grace competed her solo for the first time and won 1st place overall. She put her heart and soul in this dance which caused so many tears from our MAFA family. “Pearls” won 6th place overall, “Snowing” won 1st overall and “New Dorp New York” won 2nd overall. We were proud of all of the MAFA team members and we are excited for Nationals!!

Another unforgettable competition weekend!! So proud of all the dancers that made this weekend special! Their passion, teamwork, and dedication show in every dance. “Pearls” 2nd overall, “Snowing” and “New Dorp” 1st overall. Choreography award, Entertainment Award, Emotional Ex*****on Award and a Golden ticket!! Bravo!!

What an incredible MAFA weekend!! 🎉 Our competition team brought home 1st Overall for “Pearls” and Snowing” and 7th overall for” New Dorp”. We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication!! Miss Helen saw a former student at the dance competiton that is now a dance mom!! What a full circle! It seems like everyone danced at MAFA or knows someone that danced there (Six degreas of separation)!!
MAFA teachers and MAFA students also showed amazing support for the middle school’s production of Bye Bye Birdie. It was an outstanding show filled with so much talent!
Huge congratulations to Gianna Leary and Abby F. Great Job!!!
