Meet the Artists of ArtWalk: Lance Rath, Stephanie Shroyer, and Todd Campbell.
Lance Rath has been a part-time whittler and woodcarver since he was a kid growing up on a dairy farm over 70 years ago. After raising a family and finding some time to spare, he got more serious about the craft, and started to develop his skills as a wildlife sculptor. What you see today is the result of 30 years of that development.
Stephanie Shroyer is a multidisciplinary artist currently working in a media called botanical or eco printing or dying. She has a lifelong love of mother nature and gardening and channels this in her art. Harvesting leaves and flowers from her garden or roadside she transforms garments rescued from resale shops. Using natural dyes, mordants, and earth friendly practices of recycling her supplies, she feels this sustainable art form honors mother nature and her land. Steph’s New Leaf & Mother Nature’s Closet
Todd Campbell is a sought-after artistic metalsmith with more than 25 years of experience. He explores the vast opportunities of forging ahead through playful and artistic journeys with various metals. His scope of work includes working with the top designers, architects, and builders that Texas has to offer. Todd’s sculptural adventures are inspired by natural forms, organic growth and the magic that surrounds us. “I continue to evolve through Spiritual growth and Artistic flow creating multi-faceted and unique sculpture, furniture and architectural detail.”
