BEGINNING TODAY, we're coming out of hibernation. As often as possible, we'll be introducing a painting or print for sale on Elizabeth's page.
The first to be offered is a ltd. ed. (90) giclee print on 100% cotton rag watercolor paper of an oil Elizabeth painted entitled "Street Fair," a narrative of a colorful Sunday gathering in south Manhattan. Prints are $200 each, and 9 remain.
These will be available for purchase until all are sold.

"ON TOP OF THE WORLD" -- A beautifully moody sky envelops a mountain-top farm near the junction of Rtes. 7 & 30, just before the mountainside takes a downward plunge into the picturesque panorama that is the northeastern-most corner of the Schoharie Valley. This recently painted 10x14" watercolor, matted but unframed, is $400 (plus 8% tax). Unmatted giclee prints on 8 1/2x11" archival Epson hot press bright paper are $50, plus shipping, handling & 8% tax. Since the onset of the pandemic, we've hiked a number of regional nature trails around the Catskills & the greater Capital District. This watercolor is inspired by a goose nest found along the canal in the numerous well-organized paths in the Vischers Ferry Nature Preserve.

IN PRAISE OF HIKES -- A recent walk took us by the barn that housed our first antiques business back around 1980. We subsequently moved the shop to the carriage barn on our property that would become Elizabeth's gallery in 1996. It's a gorgeous suite of barns in a lovely setting on a balmy spring day.

However, based on the belief that you generally ought to see a painting in person before deciding to buy it, we are not encouraging online sales. That said, for inquiries into details on any painting, please private message on this page, and we'll furnish those. The plan at present is to mount a show at our home gallery in Schoharie this coming fall, where most of the works painted during quarantine will be available for sale. Thanks!
