It’s back to school week, fall is creeping in, and lots of changes are afoot!

I just wanted to hop on and remind everyone I will be away this October on vacation: Oct 11th-Nov 1st.

Messages will be delayed, as I will be present with my family and traveling. *Booking for November will still be available! *

I’m happy to trouble shoot any issues remotely, but if an emergency arises I would refer you to my friend Paige in Oshkosh at Hollow Hands.

If you are wanting to order something in particular for the holidays (halloween, Xmas, bridal, etc) get in ASAP. Some of these companies have a lead time of 4+ weeks. I don’t want to miss anyone.

Hi guys- an update on booking!

I have had some mix ups with time slots (am/pm), no shows on Saturdays, or apts booked and than canceled shortly after.

So for now going forward I opted to add a card on file as a requirement for booking. ***This is NOT a charge or a hold.***
It is simply listing it on file to deter people from no showing, and promote people to pay attention to the booking details. Listing a card on file is standard nowadays for related industries: hair, nail, lash, and other services.

***As always I still take cash, tap/ Apple Pay etc. you are not obligated to use the card you list.

If I am able to take walk-ins I typically post on social media.

Did you know in most places in the US, you can basically just call yourself a piercer and open up shop? No test, no license, no standardized training required.

Sadly, this is becoming more and more the norm and it can lead to some really unhappy outcomes with having to fix “this isn’t what I wanted or asked for” piercings.

So what can you do as a client if you are ever unsure of what your piercer has marked?

Don’t just glance and nod. If something doesn’t click, say something. “Can you show me with the jewelry where this is actually gonna sit?” is not a weird question it’s a fair one.

A piercer who knows their stuff can walk you through their reasoning in ten seconds flat. That’s not you being difficult if you need more clarification on placement.

You don’t need piercing knowledge to advocate for yourself and also remember getting pierced is voluntarily you can leave at any time that the vibe does not feel right🩷

The ear curation of my dreams ❤️‍🔥 😍 Tiffany came in wanting her second lobes and showed me an inspo picture of a conch with a ring.
She also fell in love with the “Imogen” by Junipurr which is that fun chandelier piece (that I’ve been dying to use!)

So all in all we did:

✨ A flat piercing with the Imogen from Junipurr
✨ second lobes with the Lovers by Buddha Jewelry
✨ conch with the flourish illusion with green tourmaline from BVLA! Which she can definitely swap to a ring when it heals.
