ining audiences since 2009 through her captivating performances and sassy Femcee skills on a mic. She began her producing journey under the troupe name Hot Mess Burlesque and continued providing unique shows showcasing a variety of entertainers for each production until 2012 when she stepped into the role of Ms Gay Idaho. As a representative of the queer community it was crucial to her reign to provide funds for charities that were consistently overlooked, such as child care centers and cancer research. In 2016 she teamed up with Muff Jones to create Make ‘em Blush Burlesque and together they saw a need for a performance opportunity that wasn’t directly associated with a troupe. The community stage they provided helped foster dozens of new entertainers over their 7 seasons of 2 shows a month. Providing quality entertainment is a cornerstone of Mimi’s approach to producing and she’s thrilled
to team up with Cherish in this next step in her producing career. She has trained extensively with the pioneers of fusion style belly dance. The highlight of her career has been to perform in Vegas & The Bijou Show with the world, renowned master, Jill Parker. For more than a decade Cherish has entertained audiences around the Capital Region. She saw a need for performance opportunities & started producing belly dance shows in 2015. After traveling around the country taking workshops & performing, she fell in love with the variety style shows and thought it would be a great way to showcase the amazing talent in her hometown. The Bijou Show was created to showcase professional performers & provide a top-notch experience for the audience.

A bewitching evening of adult variety where magic, mischief, seduction, comedy & the supernatural collide!

We're looking for performers who are ready to bring their own unique brand of witchy, wicked, spooky, sexy, strange, or downright spellbinding talent to the stage. Your act might be a seductive sorceress, a mischievous witch, a spell gone terribly wrong, a mystical creature, a haunted object, a supernatural seductress or something we haven't even imagined yet!

We’re looking for performers of all styles – burlesque, belly dance, drag, circus, sideshow, magic, music, dance, comedy & more!

Performers of all genders, races, ethnicities, body types, ages (21+), backgrounds & experience levels are encouraged to apply. Gilded Plume Productions is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive stage where diverse voices, perspectives & artistic expressions can shine. We especially welcome performers who bring something unique, unexpected & authentically YOU to the stage.

All acts, host & stage kitten will get a share of the ticket sales, pooled tips & raffle money.

Cherish is a fusion belly dancer, teacher & producer with over 20 years of experience. Trained in American Cabaret & Fusion Belly Dance, she is a Certified Datura Style Teacher, a graduate of Rachel Brice’s 8 Elements™ Program & has studied and performed with world-renowned dancer/teacher Jill Parker.
She is the founder of Cherish Belly Dance & the producer of The Bijou – Adult Variety Show™ & Bijou BINGO!, creating dynamic performance opportunities for variety artists throughout the Capital Region. Cherish recently teamed up with Mimi maShuga to form Gilded Plume Productions, bringing Burlypicks to the Capital Region while producing entertaining fundraiser shows that give back to local nonprofit organizations. Together, they are committed to creating inclusive, high-quality variety entertainment that celebrates local talent, strengthens community connections & helps raise funds for causes that make a difference.
