Food and fun on Friday at the finale of our Alfresco Film Series - featuring a screening of Song Sung Blue - includes pizza, hotdogs, soft pretzel sticks with Druthers beer cheese dip, jumbo cookies, brownies, ice cream sandwiches, candy, soft drinks, signature NA pina coladas, handcrafted Frog Alley & Wolf Hollow brews, Nine Pin Cider, wine, and of course...freshly popped POPCORN!

Friday, August 28 at Music Haven:
Food and beverage service begins at 6:30 PM while Rochmon Record Club spins Neil Diamond tunes in the heart of the park!

Thank you to CBS6/CW15 for having us in studio to discuss Friday's screening of "Song Sung Blue" as it closes the Alfresco Film Series and the 2026 season!

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson sing every note themselves, and Hudson's performance earned an Academy Award nomination for best actress.

The Rochmon Record Club's Chuck Vosganian spins Neil Diamond records at 6:30 p.m. while The Stageside Pub serves up snacks and beverages. Film at dusk (~7:45PM).

They weren't Neil Diamond. They were Lightning & Thunder.

Mike Sardina played Buddy Holly at Wisconsin fairgrounds. Claire Stengl worked the same circuit as Patsy Cline. They met, married, and spent the next two decades filling Milwaukee halls with "Cracklin' Rosie" and "Sweet Caroline" — good enough that Eddie Vedder asked them to open for Pearl Jam.

Craig Brewer's "Song Sung Blue" tells their story. Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson sing every note themselves, and Hudson's performance earned an Academy Award nomination for best actress.

"Song Sung Blue" closes the Alfresco Film Series and the 2026 season Friday, Aug. 28. The Rochmon Record Club's Chuck Vosganian spins records at 6:30 p.m., The Stageside Pub will be open with snacks and beverages, film at dusk.
